Things to do in Pier Park

Pier Park has been Panama City Beaches’ most popular vacation site since it opened in 2007. If you aren’t familiar with everything Pier Park has to offer, our ‘Pier Park Series’ might just be perfect to help you get all the ins-and-outs.

Panama City Beach’s Pier Park shopping and entertainment complex is over a million square feet of outdoor family fun (and still growing). Imagine walking off the beach, across the street for endless shopping, entertainment, and food. Just entering Pier Park is a spectacle by itself, with it’s lush landscape everywhere you turn and colorful bright buildings that line the sidewalks. The combination of the tropical Gulf breeze, Florida sunshine, and endless entertainment are the perfect recipe for fun family moments!

Miracle Strip Amusements at Pier Park

Pier Park has it all; from shopping, to classic Panama City Beach rides restored from a local amusement park. Enjoy delicious meals at sunset with stunning views of the beach, you and your family are sure to find everything you need right here.

What sets Pier Park apart from the Malls you might be used to, is that it is all outdoors. Just one of the perks of being in the Sunshine state! 🙂 Thanks to Pier Park,  you and your family don’t have to worry about missing out on Florida’s sunshine – even if you have an itch to go shopping. The beach and the entire Pier Park center is pet friendly (as long as your four-legged friend has a leash), and there are multiple grassy lawns to soak up some sun too! Every section of Pier Park is connected with wide sidewalks and beautifully landscaped walkways. Pier Park is also wheelchair accessible.

Pier Park is Pet Friendly!

Pier Parks’ great location (just across the beach from the City Pier) really helps make this shopping mall stand out from the crowd. There is also Aaron Bessant Park within the complex its self. A large majority of Panama City Beaches outdoor events take place right here as well.

The Sandpiper Beacon is one of the closest beachfront hotels to Pier Park. Whether you take a 20 minute stroll down Front Beach Road or hop in your car for a two minute ride. Just be sure to visit next time you’re in Panama City Beach! 🙂

Stay tuned for more in this Pier Park Series – where we will cover dining, shopping, entertainment and more!
