Family Owned and Operated
The Sandpiper Beacon was originally two separate Motels, the Sandpiper and the Beacon. The owners met, fell in love and combined the two to create what you know today as the Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort. It is owned and operated to this day by the 2nd and 3rd generation of the same family.
24/7 Guest Service
We dislike impersonal call centers just as much as you do. That’s why we always wanted to help our guests directly with good, old-fashioned friendly customer service. We’re real humans who are here 24/7 to help guests on-site, as well as anyone who calls or emails us.
Online Booking
We haven’t always offered online booking, but after requests to offer it, you can now book your stay online. We still enjoy speaking to you and helping you plan the perfect family vacation. That will never change, but if you enjoy the ease and convenience of online booking, you can.
Huge Choice of Rooms
We never wanted to offer a limited and restrictive selections of rooms. We understand there’s no one-size-fits-all family these days, and budgets vary just as much. Thats’ why we have over a dozen different (customizable) rooms, suites, condos, villas and beach houses to choose from.

We are incredibly fortunate to have such a large extended family of wonderful employees who have been working with us for generations. Guests enjoy booking their room with the same person each year, coming to the lobby for a friendly chat and catching up.
