How to find “The FUN Place!”
The Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort is located at 17403 Front Beach Road in Panama City Beach, Fl. 32413. Feel free to call us on 850-234-2154 and we can talk you through getting here… We are at the quieter, more relaxed west-end of Panama City Beach. So when you stay here, you’re still close to all the action (within just a short driving distance) but far enough away to be able to relax.
Directions From the Airport
The Sandpiper Beacon is less than 14 miles away from the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP).
1. Head north on W Bay Pkwy
2. Turn right onto State Hwy 388
3. Turn left onto FL-79 S
4. Turn right onto Back Beach Rd/Panama City Beach Pkwy
5. Turn left onto Cobb Rd
6. Turn left onto Front Beach Rd
7. The Sandpiper Beacon will be on the right!
Directly On the Beach
The entire Resort, as well as our condo units, beach houses, and townhouse villas are all located directly on the famous sugar white sands of Panama City Beach. Guests staying here never have to worry about trying to cross busy roads full of traffic every day to get to the beach.
From Frank Brown Park
Frank Brown Park is only 2.4 miles away from the Sandpiper Beacon.
1. Head south on Mandy Ln
2. Turn right onto Back Beach Rd/Panama City Beach Pkwy
3. Turn left onto Cobb Rd
4. Turn left onto Front Beach Rd

Just 1.5m to Pier Park
The ever-expanding outdoor shopping complex offers vacationers lots of fun ways to relax and spend a few hours. Dozens of chain restaurants, beach-themed bars, boutique gift shops, and plenty to keep the kids entertained. Guest staying with us can walk, or make a short drive there.
From Shipwreck Island
Shipwreck Island Waterpark is a short 12 minute drive away from the Sandpiper Beacon.
1. Head northwest on Hutchison Blvd / Middle Beach Rd toward Lyndell Ln
2. Turn right onto State Hwy 30H/Lyndell Ln
3. Turn left onto US-98 W / Back Beach Rd/Panama City Beach Pkwy
4. Turn left onto Cobb Rd
5. Turn left onto Front Beach Rd

From Pier Park

1. Head southwest on Pier Park Dr
2. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit
3. Continue onto L C Hilton Jr Dr
4. Turn left onto W Park Dr
5. Turn right onto Front Beach Rd

So long as at least one person in your group (the head signer) is 18 years old, you can stay here with us.
Unlike the majority of Panama City Beach Hotels who try to discourage younger guests staying, we welcome you to stay here with us.
Yes! We accept small dogs up to 25lbs, for a small additional per-night, per pet fee.

Check-in time is 5pm or later. Early check-in is available starting at 11 am for an additional fee. Our check out time is at 10 am.
You can register for your room anytime after 11am.
If your room is ready, we will issue your room keys and you are all set.
If your room is not ready yet (because housekeeping have not had chance to prepare it for you yet) we will issue everybody in your group wristbands.
This will give you full access to all of the pools, amenities and activities around the Resort. That way you can get your vacation started, no matter what time it is.
We will take a phone number of somebody in your group and call you as soon as your room becomes available. At that time, you can return to the lobby at your convenience and complete the check-in process.
Your room is guaranteed to be ready no later than 5pm. It is exceptionally rare that it would ever be as late as 5pm.
Not all our rooms and suites have kitchens, but those that do come equipped with all of the essential pots / pans / utensils etc. that most people are likely to need during their stay.
Sometimes (unfortunately) some of our items can go missing when guests check out, so it’s possible that you may find something missing.
If that’s the case, all you have to do is let us know and we’ll do our best to track down a replacement and bring it up to your room for you as quickly as we can.
If there’s a very specific item that you must have, or something that’s a little less common you may want to pack one and bring it just in case.
However, we will do everything we can to make sure you have what you need during your stay.
