Quick guide to our selection of Panama City Beach Date Night Restaurant Ideas

Firefly

Firefly is an upscale and beautiful restaurant for your special date night. The ambient lighting inside sets the mood beautifully for a meal you’ll both love. It’s romantic, plus they have booths for additional snuggling and coziness.

You can even dine in your own private room. The menu at firefly offers couples dishes you won’t find anywhere else, like the grilled octopus and olive oil poached shrimp appetizer. A date-night staple is the pepper-crusted stuffed filet mignon. Try the sushi too, because it really is some of the best in town.

Our recommendation: end the date night with a smooth and creamy creme brûlée to share.

The Grand Marlin

The Grand Marlin overlooks the bay and has seats with views perfect for a date night. There’s additional seating upstairs too.

Watch the sunset together as the boats come in from Shell Island.

The menu at the Grand Marlin has lots of great seafood options as you’d expect, including items like grouper piccata and lobster fingers.

A slice of key lime pie is the perfect way to finish off your date night dinner, but order one to share of course.

Saltwater Grill

The Saltwater Grill has an impressive 25,000 gallon tropical saltwater aquarium as you enter. It’s a great wow-factor way to start your date night off on the right foot.

It’s full of beautiful tropical fish, which makes a stunning backdrop to your romantic night together.

Lobster bisque and diver scallops are some of the most popular menu items, and make for great sharing.

The spectacle of the aquarium and the attractive decor make this one of the prettiest restaurants you can take your loved one.

Capt. Anderson’s Restaurant

Last but not least is Capt. Anderson’s Restaurant.

A true Panama City Beach staple. Their motto is “Dine early and watch the fleet unload.”

Their dining area offers views that overlook the charter boats pulling in with all their fresh fish from the day.

It’s a great place to cozy up together, watch the World go by and enjoy some great food. Depending on the season, wait times can be pretty long.

We suggest that you call ahead of time and make a reservation.
