These little fellas will get your mouth watering…

Welcome to Bayou on the Beach…

Bayou on the Beach Restaurant and Oyster Bar all started when the Buxton Family took their flare on Louisiana cookin’ and brought it to Panama City Beach, Florida.

Of all the incredible Panama City Beach restaurants, it’s the lively atmosphere in Bayou on the Beach that is sure to make you feel like you’re sat in the French Quarter. It is nothing short of inviting – starting with the vivacious staff, who are ready to throw Mardi Gras beads around your neck with a big “Ayeee!” right as you walk in the door!

Jambalaya – A popular favorite!

This locally owned treasure is a Panama City Beach must-try! With its wide variety of seafood, oysters, sandwiches, and original Cajun classics. Bayou on the Beach has created the perfect balance of peppers and spices so everyone can enjoy that Louisiana flare. But don’t worry heat lovers, they can definitely turn up the temperature if you prefer. 🙂

Sandpiper Recommendation: Try an order of the “Who Dat” shrimp as your appetizer (fried and tossed in their secret “Who Dat” sauce with an explosive flavor) or maybe a dozen raw oysters on the half shell with the special Bayou pepper sauce to top them off. As an entree the Seafood Jambalaya or the blackened catch of the day seasoned with the their famous blend Cajun Seasoning is a great choice! As for dessert, you can’t go wrong with a Louisiana classic like sweet beignets.

This restaurant is really one of a kind and this authentic style of Louisiana food can’t be found anywhere else on the Beach. Along with the energetic staff, there are awesome seasonal bands that really know how to entertain.
